In spring, when nature awakes from its hibernation, everything shines in fresh green.
In summer, in addition to the thermal bath, our beautiful outdoor pool invites you to swim.
Autumn dips the spa gardens and the surrounding landscape in its most beautiful colours.
Since we are the highest situated state swimming pool in Bavaria, there is a certain snow guarantee also in winter. Then the landscape radiates a wonderful calmness.
And if it is really bad weather (very, very rare), a day at the thermal spa in Bad Steben is recommended.

Hiking and Cycling
The Frankenweg runs 123 km through the Frankenwald, three large circular hiking trails – the Bergknappenweg, the Humboldt-Weg and the Jungbrunnenweg lead around Bad Steben.
The Frankenwald Association regularly organizes guided hikes, to which you are cordially invited.
Rewarding destinations such as the Höllental or Lichtenberg Castle are not too far away – the landscape you can experience on the way will inspire you.
Walking and Nordic Walking is easy to learn and promotes stamina and strengthens the muscles. You can get equipment and clothing for this in the village, we will organise the desired companions and joint running events. After all, there is a Nordic Walking trail network of 26 km around Bad Steben.
Bad Steben also belongs to one of the most beautiful mountain bike regions in Germany, the Craft Bike Trans Germany chose Bad Steben as official stage location.
